We at devtodev platform strive to give our users access to a wide variety of useful tools so that they can analyze their product all around and draw conclusions that will help them in their development. This update got you two new features in the Funnel report (Reports -> Conversion funnel): an alternative event that you can use when building a funnel, and an option for creating a segment of users who failed to complete all the funnel steps.
More Details of the Update
Picture that you’ve built a funnel where you have two similar actions, e.g. signing in and registration. You are fine with any of them, but you can’t create a single funnel because these actions are actually tracked by two different events and you end up building two separate funnels. With this update, you can use up to three actions in each funnel step and create only one funnel that will consist of steps with alternative actions.
For example, you can combine:
-
Registration and authorization
-
Shop open and offer open
-
Hotel booking or car booking
Also, you can create a segment of users who dropped at any step and failed to reach a set goal. For example, build a segment of users who installed your game or app but haven’t opened the shop and send them a push notification. Working with the ‘droppers’ can open up issues with your funnel that, after fixing them, may result in more purchases and larger revenue.
