2013 was a defining year for devtodev, marking the launch of our analytics platform and the expansion of our capabilities for developers.
devtodev Key Milestones in 2013

Here are the most important milestones from that year.

Launch of devtodev

After months of development and industry research, devtodev officially launched in November 2013. It became the first analytics service to combine:

  • App store statistics from iTunes Connect and Google Play
  • User behavior analytics through SDK integration

This dual-source data approach allowed developers to track user activity, analyze revenue, and understand in-game behavior, all in one place.

First Media Preview

In October, we introduced devtodev at a media event in API Moscow, attended by IT journalists and industry experts. The event featured insights from our analytics team and a Q&A session with CEO Dmitry Kravtsov, setting the stage for the platform’s official launch.

New SDK Releases

To expand compatibility, devtodev released an SDK for Windows Phone 8, enabling app developers to track installs, user actions, in-app purchases, and game-specific metrics like level progression and currency accrual.

Major SDK Update

A new release of our core SDK introduced key improvements:

  • Report and dashboard sharing for better collaboration
  • Detailed country and language reporting for global insights
  • Improved bar chart visualization for clearer data representation
  • A refined paying user metric for more accurate revenue analysis

These updates strengthened devtodev’s analytics tools, making them more effective and user-friendly for developers.
